The 25 year old US legend is perhaps one of the best skiers of our time. Tanner Hall has both pushed and defined freestyle. Since the high-school dropout’s competition debut in 2001, he proved everyone that he was worth something, quickly becoming a dominator of both competition and backcountry. Tanner now holds the record for most career gold medals.

Music and just being positive. I have the learned the more positive you can be in this world the better

I like to just relax and kick it when I’m not on the go because it’s very hectic a lot of the time so when I have time to chill I take it whenever I can

What is your favorite city to visit and why?

New York because I have only been there a couple times but each time was super fun

Favorite spots and resorts?

Retallak Ski Lodge in British Columbia cause it always has good snow and I’m an investor as well. And probably Haines AK because its soooo big and the options are endless

At Home in park City or up in Montana

What started you skiing?

My parents took me when I was super young and from the first day I was in love

Why do you ride?

Because it’s my love my passion and the one thing in life that keeps me going

Best part of skiing?

Being with my best friends everyday

Hardest part?

Dealing with an injury, that is definitely the hardest part

Weakness?

Riding really big lines. I’m getting better at it but its still scary as hell!

Most important people in your life and career?

My family and friends because they have shown so much support for me in my career. I couldn’t be more lucky

Worst moment in career?

When I broke both my ankles and heels on “Chad´s gap”

Best moment in career?

Winning the XGAMES for the 7th time and setting a record

General career goals?

Just to keep progressing the sport each year to new heights and take the sport where no one thought it could go

Career highlights?

I won the XGAMES the US OPEN the SKI TOUR IN BREAK, and got 2nd at the WORLD SUPERPIPE CHAMPS. Won best male performer and best line and best movie at the powder awards

WORLD DOMINATION!!!!!!!!!!

Advice to beginners?

Take it slow and just ski as much as you possibly can!

Just try to have fun everyday on your skis, no matter if your training or not

Occupation If I was not a professional skier?

I don’t know what I would be if I wasn’t a skier. I would probably be into music because that is the other big passion I have in my life
